About Every Door Open
Every Door Open Corp. is a Chicago-based transitional housing and community restoration organization dedicated to empowering individuals to achieve independence and stability. We serve youth aging out of foster care, individuals facing mental health challenges, and adults seeking a fresh start after hardship. Our mission is to provide safe, supportive housing combined with comprehensive education and training programs that equip our residents with the skills and confidence needed to thrive in their communities.
We believe that everyone deserves a second chance and the opportunity to build a better future. Through our holistic approach, we address not only housing needs but also provide mentorship, life skills training, mental health support, and employment preparation. Our dedicated team works closely with each resident to create personalized pathways to independence, ensuring they have the tools, resources, and community support necessary to succeed long-term.

We cover essential skills, including budgeting, job readiness, health management, and community integration, to ensure long-term success. Understanding credit, credit restoration for those with credit concerns, or when life happens. EDO would teach you the principles of achieving an excellent credit score, maintaining it, and building a healthy credit profile.
Mental Health & Community Support
Specialized support services for individuals facing mental health challenges, including counseling, peer mentorship, training, community restoration programs, and so much more. We create a supportive environment where residents can heal and build meaningful connections.
